Mercury Fillings – Toxic Teeth – Toxin in your mouth

Here was one of the questions from the Health Wealth and Wisdom Radio Talk Show 1250am WHNZ with Evan & Deb.

Dr. Adams, are there any special measures and procedures to handle mercury in the dental office?

His answer…

“As we learn how toxic mercury can be, some dentists are taking measures to ensure the dental staff, patient, doctor and environment, and all persons in the enviroment are protected.  It is irresponsbile and dangerous not to do so.  It’s one thing if we don’t know but with the science avaiable today how can you ignore the facts.  Our office is able and willing to protect us all resulting in healthy body dentistry.”

Dr. Adams avoid’s using fillings that contain mercury compounds in any patient for over 20 years.  He takes prides with his office moving forward to be a mercury safe, mercury free office in the future.

The FDA’s warning about the danger of cheap mercury fillings was kept secret.

Senior U.S. health officials have a squelched a Food and Drug Administration proposal that for the first time would have curbed dentists use of mercury-one of the planets nastiest toxins because it attacks the central nervous system in treating American’s decayed teeth.

The proposal, approved by top FDA officails in the late 2011 and keep secret since, would have told dentists they should not use mercury fillings in cavities in pregnant women, nursing moms, children under 6 and people with mercury allergies, kidney disease or neurological problems.
